TekChat Delete Your Account and Data
You can permanently delete your account at any time — use one of the two methods below.
Method 1: From Inside the App (Fastest)
Open the TekChat app → Profile tab → tap the "Delete My Account" button at the bottom → confirm. Your account and profile data are deleted instantly and you are signed out automatically.
Method 2: If the App Isn't Installed
You can request account deletion without installing the app. Send an email titled "Account Deletion Request" to the address below, from the email address registered to your account:
Email: tekchatapp@gmail.com
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Body: State the email address registered to your account.
Your request is processed within 30 days at the latest and a confirmation email is sent to you.
What Gets Deleted?
- Your profile details: nickname, avatar, date of birth, gender
- Your account (email / Google sign-in record)
- Your active queue and room records
What Is Retained?
To preserve the integrity of safety and moderation, report records made by or about you and past chat/match records are not deleted. These records continue to be kept in a form that cannot be directly linked to your personal identity. See the Privacy Policy for details.
